    Product Description

Cy-OH-LP is a turn-on fluorescent and photoacoustic probe for the detection of lipid-associated hydroxyl radicals.1 In the presence of hydroxyl radicals, Cy-OH-LP is oxidized to Cy7, which displays weak fluorescent and photoacoustic signals in water-soluble environments and strong fluorescent and photoacoustic signals in lipid-rich environments due to its lipid solubility. Cy-OH-LP (1 mg/kg) has been used for photoacoustic imaging of hydroxyl radicals in atherosclerotic plaques in ApoE-/- mice fed a high-fat diet.

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
