    Triamcinolone hexacetonide is a synthetic corticosteroid and prodrug form of triamcinolone acetonide (Item No. 18026).1 Intra-articular administration of triamcinolone hexacetonide decreases joint swelling in a rabbit model of adjuvant-induced arthritis.2 Formulations containing triamcinolone hexacetonide have been used in the treatment of various autoimmune dermatoses.
