    n-Decyl-β-D-glucopyranoside is a nonionic alkyl glucoside chiral surfactant with a critical micelle concentration (CMC) value of 0.8 mM.1 It has been used to solubilize membrane proteins.2 Formulations containing n-decyl-β-D-glucopyranoside are associated with allergic contact dermatitis.
