    Product Description

    NVR 3-778 is a hepatitis B virus (HBV) capsid assembly modulator.1 It inhibits viral replication of HBV genotypes A-H in HepG2 2.2.15 cells (mean EC50s = 0.2-0.58 µM). NVR 3-778 inhibits the production of HBV surface antigen (HBsAg), HBV e antigen (HBeAg), and HBV DNA in a primary human hepatocyte model of de novo HBV infection (EC50s = 4.8, 4.5, and 0.81 µM, respectively). In vivo, NVR 3-778 (40 mg/kg twice per day) reduces serum levels of HBV DNA in HBV-infected mice with humanized livers.2
