    Product Description

DDDDK-tag Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody is a probe for the immunochemical detection of DDDDK tags on recombinant proteins. Recombinant proteins are commonly labeled with affinity tags, such as DDDDK, which is a derivative of the DYKDDDDK-tag and a recognition sequence for enterokinases, to facilitate both their detection and purification.1,2,3. DDDDK tags are utilized because of their small size, low potential to interfere in protein folding or activity, and strong immunoreactivity. Cayman's DDDDK-tag Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (Clone RM399) can be used for Western blots (WBs).
