    Cavosonstat is an inhibitor of S-nitrosoglutathione reductase (GSNOR; IC50 = 16 nM).1 It decreases disease severity, spinal cord T cell infiltration, demyelination, axonal loss, and body weight loss in a mouse model of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) when administered at a dose of 5 mg/kg.2
