    Product Description

    BCP-NC2-C12 is an ionizable cationic lipid that has been used in the generation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for the delivery of mRNA in vivo.1 LNPs containing BCP-NC2-C12 accumulate primarily in the liver and spleen of mice. LNPs containing BCP-NC2-C12 and encapsulating mRNA encoding the Cas9 nuclease and small-guide RNA (sgRNA) targeting the gene encoding proprotein convertase subtilisin kexin type 9 (Pcsk9) induce insertion and deletion (indel) formation and reduce serum levels of Pcsk9 in mice.
