RGDV is a tetrapeptide that contains an arginine-glycine-aspartate (RGD) motif, a sequence that acts as a recognition site for various adhesion proteins.1 It inhibits the binding of fibrinogen to ADP-stimulated platelets and isolated human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs; IC50s = 18 and 350 µM, respectively).2 RGDV, when conjugated to gemcitabine (Item Nos. 11690 | 9003096), decreases tumor weight and metastasis in an LLC1 murine lung cancer model.3
