    ML-418 is an inhibitor of inward-rectifier potassium channel 7.1 (Kir7.1; IC50 = 0.31 µM).1 It is selective for Kir7.1 over Kir1.1, Kir2.1, and Kir4.1 (IC50s = >30 µM for all) but does inhibit sulfonylurea receptor 1 (SUR1) linked to ATP-sensitive potassium channel Kir6.2 (SUR1/Kir6.2; IC50 = 1.9 µM).
