    (2-(1H-Indol-3-yl)acetyl)-L-tryptophan is an active metabolite of the auxin plant growth regulator indole-3-acetic acid (IAA; Item No. 16954).{77113,77114 It induces coleoptile elongation in A. sativa seedlings (EC50 = 6.5 µM).1 (2-(1H-Indol-3-yl)acetyl)-L-tryptophan inhibits IAA-induced inhibition of A. thaliana root growth in a concentration-dependent manner.2
