    Product Description

    PEN is a neuropeptide and a fragment of ProSAAS, a pro-protein that is cleaved into smaller peptides that regulate neurohormone activity.1 PEN was originally identified as a ligand for GPR83, a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) involved in regulating food consumption. However, it does not induce calcium mobilization in HEK293 cells expressing human GPR83.
