    C18 Ganglioside GD3-d7 (d18:1/18:0-d7) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of C18 ganglioside GD3 by GC- or LC-MS. C18 Ganglioside GD3 is a ganglioside containing stearic acid (Item No. 10011298) as the acyl chain. Intratumoral levels of C18 ganglioside GD3 are increased in tissue from patients with anaplastic ganglioglioma compared to levels in peritumoral or non-pathological brain tissue.1 This product is fully synthetic and has no variations in the fatty acyl chain or sphingoid backbone.
