Explore how neutrophils shape the immune response in health and disease. This poster highlights neutrophil pathogen defense mechanisms, including phagocytosis, degranulation, and NETosis, as well as neutrophil roles in inflammation and NET-associated pathologies.
DOWNLOAD NOWTrovirdine is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI).1 It inhibits HIV-1 wild-type reverse transcriptase (RT; IC50 = 0.017 µM) and the mutants RTL100I, RTE138R, RTY181C, RTY188H (IC50s = 0.43, 0.22, 2.5, and 0.2 µM, respectively). Trovirdine (5 mg/kg) delays p27 antigenemia and the appearance of anti-simian immunodeficiency virus (anti-SIV) antibodies in rhesus monkeys infected with transgenic SIV expressing HIV-1 RT.2 It is also active against T. gondii (IC50 = 18.89 µM).3
