Lucidenic acid D is a triterpenoid that has been found in G. lucidum and has antiviral and anti-inflammatory activities.1,2,3 It decreases levels of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) early antigen in EBV-infected Raji cells in a concentration-dependent manner.2 Lucidenic acid D decreases ear edema induced by phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (TPA; Item No. 10008014) in mice (ID50 = 0.11 mg/ear).3
