    CGP 37849 is an NMDA receptor antagonist (Ki = 220 nM).1 It decreases the number of seizures induced by maximal electroshock (MES) in rats (ED50 = 21 mg/kg). CGP 37849 (0.62, 1.25, or 2.5 mg/kg) reduces immobility time in the forced swim test.2
