    FITC-Stearyl-R8 is a fluorescently labeled form of the stearic acid-conjugated cell-penetrating peptide stearyl-R8. FITC displays excitation/emission maxima of 485/535 nm, respectively. FITC-Stearyl-R8 has been used as a positive control to monitor cellular uptake of cell-penetrating peptidomimetics.1
