    Product Description

Pronqodine A is a quinone that has been found in Streptomyces and has enzyme inhibitory and anti-inflammatory activities.1,2 It inhibits NAD(P)H:quinone acceptor oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1; IC50 = 131.5 nM).2 Pronqodine A inhibits bradykinin-induced prostaglandin E2 (PGE2; Item No. 14010), 6-keto PGF1α (Item No. 15210), and PGD2 (Item No. 12010) production in SW 982 human synovial sarcoma cells (IC50s = 9, 19, and 7 nM, respectively).1 It also induces the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in SW 982 cells.
