    Product Description

Human T cell leukemia virus type 1 (HTLV-1) Tax (11-19) is an immunogenic T cell epitope derived from the HTLV-1 oncoprotein Tax.1,2,3 It binds to HLA-A*0201 in a cell-free assay when used at a concentration of 1 nM.1 Co-culture of HTLV-1 Tax (11-19)-primed isolated human HLA-A2-positive mature dendritic cells with naïve autologous peripheral blood lymphocytes induces IFN-γ production in the CD8+ T cell population.2 HTLV-1 Tax (11-19) has been used to evaluate the role of dendritic cells in the cytotoxic CD8+ T cell response in transgenic mice.3
