    Diethylcarbamazine is an antifilarial agent.1,2 In vivo, diethylcarbamazine (100 mg/kg) reduces microfilaria levels in B. pahangi-infected athymic mice. Formulations containing diethylcarbamazine have been used in the treatment of lymphatic filariasis and loiasis.
