    Product Description

Acid red 26 is an azo dye.1 It displays an absorbance maximum at 500 nm. Acid red 26 induces mortality in zebrafish larvae at 2,800 µg/ml and decreases heart rate and induces cardiac edema, yolk sac absorption delay, and swimming bladder deflation in zebrafish larvae in a concentration-dependent manner.2 It increases sister chromatid exchange (SCE) in mouse bone marrow cells when administered at doses of 62.5 and 125 mg/kg.3 Formulations containing acid red 26 have been used as textile dyes.

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
