    Product Description

    Epoxyazadiradione is a limonoid that has been found in A. indica and has diverse biological activities.1,2 It inhibits macrophage migration inhibitor factor (MIF) tautomerase activity (IC50s = 6.4, 9.5, and 9.8 µM for the human, P. falciparum, and P. yoelii enzymes, respectively).1 Epoxyazadiradione (400 µM) inhibits tau aggregation and induces disaggregation of preformed tau aggregates in cell-free assays.2 In vivo, epoxyazadiradione (25, 50, and 100 mg/kg) prevents LPS- and P. yoelii MIF-induced IL-6, IL-1α, IL-1β, and TNF-α production in mice.1
