    Methylcellulose is a derivative of cellulose.1,2,3 Formulations containing methylcellulose have been used as surgical reagents, food additives, adhesives, dispersing agents, emollient laxatives, and as a binder in drug formulations. This product is also available as part of Cayman's Tissue Cryopreservation Reagent Kit (MEDY) (Item No. 502885).
