    Product Description

    Podosporin A is a sesquiterpene quinone and fungal metabolite that has been found in P. decipiens and has diverse biological activities.1 It is active against S. fimicola and A. furfuraceus (MICs = 175 and 50 µg/ml, respectively), as well as B. subtilis, S. aureus, and C. albicans when used in a disc assay at a concentration of 50 µg/disc. Podosporin A is toxic to brine shrimp (LC50 = 10 µg/ml).
