    Product Description

    SMPT is an antibody-toxin cross-linking agent that contains an amine-reactive N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) group and a sulfhydryl-reactive pyridyldithio group.1 SMPT has been used in the formation of antibody-toxin conjugates to induce toxicity in lymphoma and leukemia cells. SMPT-crosslinked immunotoxins have increased stability in vivo compared to those cross-linked using succinimidyl 3-(2-pyridyldithio)propionate (SPDP) or 2-iminothiolane (2-IT).
