    Product Description

    Glycocholic acid (CRM) (Item No. 44905) is a certified reference material categorized as a conjugated bile acid. It is a glycine-conjugated form of the primary bile acid cholic acid (Item No. 20250). The bile acid composition ratio of glycocholic acid is elevated in the bile of patients with cholangiocarcinoma compared with patients with pancreatic cancer or benign biliary diseases.1 Serum levels of glycocholic acid are elevated in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma compared with healthy individuals.2 This product is intended for use in quantitative analytical research applications. This product is also available as a general research tool (Item No. 20276).
