Radiclonic acid is a diterpene that has been found in Talaromyces species and has diverse biological activities.1,2,3 It is active against methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA; MIC = 3.13 µg/ml).1 Radiclonic acid is cytotoxic to BIU-87 bladder, Eca-109 esophageal, and BEL-7402 liver cancer cells (IC50s = 12.47, 7.7, and 13.75 µM, respectively).2 It stimulates root growth in Chinese cabbage and rice seedlings.3
