Retagliptin is an inhibitor of dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP-4).1 It induces autophagy and inhibits melanogenesis induced by α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH) in B16-F1 melanocytes when used at concentrations of 10 and 100 µM.
