Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) (92-106) is an encephalitogenic peptide and a peptide fragment of MOG, a protein involved in demyelinating CNS disorders.1 MOG (92-106) induces relapsing-remitting experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (RR-EAE) in SJL/J mice that lack NK1.1+ T cells and express a Th2-low phenotype. It induces a primary progressive (PP) form of EAE when used alone but induces the secondary progressive (SP) form when supplemented with B. pertussis in A.SW mice that have a Th2-responsive phenotype.
