    Product Description

STOCK1N-57534 is an inducer of mitophagy, a selective form of autophagy for the clearance of damaged mitochondria.1 It induces the formation of autophagy receptor p62 disulfide-linked conjugates and restores autophagic flux and the formation of p62- and LC3-II-positive autophagosomes in autophagy-related protein 5 knockout (Atg5-/-) mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) at a concentration of 30 µM. STOCK1N-57534 restores mitophagy in irradiated human diploid fibroblasts (HDFs) and HDFs from aged donors, both expressing the mitophagy reporter mt-mKeima.
