    Product Description

Glycodeoxycholic acid (CRM) (Item No. 45113) is a certified reference material categorized as a bile acid conjugate.1 It is a glycine-conjugated form of the secondary bile acid deoxycholic acid (Item Nos. 18231 | 20756). Glycodeoxycholic acid serum levels are increased in cystic fibrosis patients with non-cirrhotic liver disease compared to cystic fibrosis patients without non-cirrhotic liver disease.2 Serum levels of glycodeoxycholic acid are elevated in non-surviving patients with acetaminophen-induced acute liver failure (AALF) compared with survivors.3 Glycodeoxycholic acid levels are also increased in the plasma of patients with asthma.4 This product is intended for use in analytical research applications. This product is also available as a general research tool (Item No. 20274).

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
