Explore how neutrophils shape the immune response in health and disease. This poster highlights neutrophil pathogen defense mechanisms, including phagocytosis, degranulation, and NETosis, as well as neutrophil roles in inflammation and NET-associated pathologies.
DOWNLOAD NOW3-Azido-4-hydroxybenzoic acid is a derivative of the bacterial phenolic glycolipid p-hydroxybenzoic acid (pHB) that contains an azide group.1 When applied to bacteria, 3-azido-4-hydroxybenzoic acid is incorporated into the cell surface and has been used in combination with biorthogonal conjugation of a fluorescent probe to visualize phenolic glycolipid in M. marinum. 3-Azido-4-hydroxybenzoic acid has also been used as a precursor in the synthesis of photoreactive benzamide probes for histone deacetylase 2 (HDAC2).2
