Explore how neutrophils shape the immune response in health and disease. This poster highlights neutrophil pathogen defense mechanisms, including phagocytosis, degranulation, and NETosis, as well as neutrophil roles in inflammation and NET-associated pathologies.
DOWNLOAD NOWThe cullin 2 RING ligase (CRL2) complex is an E3 ubiquitin ligase complex.1,2 It is composed of a von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) E3 ligase, a substrate recognition receptor that interacts with elongin B and -C, cullin 2 as the scaffold, and RING box protein 1 (RBX1), which binds to ubiquitin-loaded E2.1 NEDDylation of cullin 2 alters the conformation of cullin 2 and RBX1 to promote ubiquitin transfer to the CRL2 substrate.2 The CRL2 complex is involved in germline development and viral infection.1 A SNP in CUL2, the gene encoding cullin 2, is associated with an increased risk for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.3 Cayman’s Cullin 2/RBX1 Complex (human, recombinant) can be used for enzyme activity assays.
