    Product Description

    FPT inhibitor I is a farnesyltransferase (FTase) inhibitor (IC50 = 0.083 µM).1 It is selective for FTase over geranylgeranyltransferase I (GGTase I), geranylgeranyltransferase II (GGTase II), squalene synthetase (SQS), and mevalonate kinase (MK; IC50s = 26, 47, 516, and >200 µM, respectively). FPT inhibitor I decreases FTase-mediated farnesylation of H-Ras in a cell-free assay.
