    7-methyl Lumazine is an oxidative degradation product in methanogenic archaea, commonly known as methanogenic bacteria, and a derivative of the fluorescent compound lumazine (Item No. 38300).1 It displays excitation/emission maxima of 337/460 nm, respectively, in phosphate buffer with a pH of 7.0.
