    Turonicin A is a polyketide synthase-derived linear polyene originally isolated from Streptomyces that has antifungal and antibacterial activities.1 It is active against C. albicans, S. cerevisiae, B. subtilis, and S. aureus (MICs = 2.7, 0.7, 85, and 340 nM, respectively).
