    Product Description

    Stearyl glycyrrhetinate is a stearyl ester derivative of 18β-glycyrrhetinic acid (Item No. 11845).1 It is active against methicillin-susceptible and -resistant S. aureus (MRSA; MICs = 64-4,096 and 128-2,048 mg/L, respectively).2 Stearyl glycyrrhetinate has been used in the formation of liver-targeting liposomes.1,3 Formulations containing stearyl glycyrrhetinate have been used in cosmetics.
