    Product Description

    Fluticasone O-fluoro methyl ester is a synthetic glucocorticoid.1 It binds to the glucocorticoid receptor (Ki = 1.7 nM) and inhibits transcription mediated by activator protein-1 (AP-1) in AD-293 cells. Intranasal administration of fluticasone O-fluoro methyl ester (0.125 mg/kg) represses airway hyperresponsiveness in a mouse model of ovalbumin-induced acute asthma. It reduces lung levels of inflammatory cytokines and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) eosinophil infiltration in a mouse model of steroid-susceptible inflammation and reduces BALF neutrophil and CD4+ T cell infiltration in a mouse model of steroid-resistant inflammation.
