    Acetyl tetrapeptide-2 is a peptide derivative of thymopoietin II that corresponds to amino acids 33-36 of the human sequence.1 It increases the stiffness of HaCaT keratinocytes at 0.5 µg/ml.2 Formulations containing acetyl tetrapeptide-2 have been used in cosmetics as skin firming agents.
