    Testosterone enanthate (exempt preparation) (Item No. 46044) is an analytical reference standard categorized as an anabolic androgenic steroid.1,2 Testosterone enanthate is a prodrug form of testosterone (Item Nos. ISO60154 | ISO00154 | 15645). It has been found in performance-enhancing drug (PED) samples seized by law enforcement.1,3 Formulations containing testosterone enanthate have been used in testosterone replacement therapy in patients with a condition associated with a deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone and in the treatment of metastatic mammary cancer. Testosterone enanthate is regulated as a Schedule III compound in the United States. Testosterone enanthate (exempt preparation) (Item No. 46044) is provided as a DEA exempt preparation. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
