    Testosterone cypionate (exempt preparation) (Item No. 46045) is an analytical reference standard categorized as an anabolic androgenic steroid.1 Testosterone cypionate is a prodrug form of testosterone (Item Nos. ISO60154 | ISO00154 | 15645). It has been detected in hair samples from competition athletes and plasma samples from racehorses.2,3 Formulations containing testosterone cypionate have been used for replacement therapy in males with hypogonadism. Testosterone cypionate is regulated as a Schedule III compound in the United States. Testosterone cypionate (exempt preparation) (Item No. 46045) is provided as a DEA exempt preparation. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
