    Product Description

    PF-4191834 is a non-redox inhibitor of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO; IC50 = 229 nM).1 It is selective for 5-LO over 12-LO, 15-LO, COX-1, and COX-2 at 30 µM. PF-4191834 inhibits leukotriene B4 (LTB4; Item No. 20110) production in whole blood isolated from patients with asthma (IC50 = 180 nM). It reverses mechanical hyperalgesia in a rat model of inflammatory pain at 1-10 mg/kg.
