    Product Description

    GLP-26 is a capsid assembly modulator (CAM) and an antiviral agent.1 It binds to hepatitis B virus (HBV) capsid particles (Kd = 0.7 µM) and inhibits HBV replication in HepAD38 cells and primary human hepatocytes (EC50s = 0.003 and 0.4 µM, respectively). GLP-26 reduces HBV e antigen (HBeAg) secretion from, and covalently closed circular DNA (cccDNA) levels in, HepAD38 cells. In vivo, GLP-26 (60 mg/kg) decreases viral loads in HBV-infected humanized mice when used alone or in combination with entecavir (Item Nos. 36926 | 13831).
