    Product Description

Edotreotide is a ligand for somatostatin receptor 2 (SST2; IC50 = 14 nM for the human receptor).1 It is selective for SST2 over SST1 and SST3-5 (IC50s = >10,000, 880, >1,000, and 393 nM, respectively, for the human receptors). Edotreotide has been radiolabeled and used as an SST receptor-targeting component in radionuclide-drug conjugates (RDCs) with anticancer activity in vitro and in mice.2
