    IDD388 is an inhibitor of aldose reductase 2, also known as aldo-keto reductase family 1 member B1 (AKR1B1; IC50 = 0.3 µM).1 It is selective for aldose reductase 2 over AKR1B10 (IC50 = 4.4 µM).
