    Product Description

    Camicinal is a motilin receptor agonist.1 It increases intracellular calcium levels in CHO-K1 cells expressing the human motilin receptor (EC50 =12.59 nM). Camicinal potentiates electrical field-stimulated contractions in isolated rabbit gastric antrum strips by at 0.3-3 µM and acetylcholine-induced contractions in ex vivo isolated human gastric strips at 10 µM.1,2 It increases excreted fecal weight in rabbits at 5 mg/kg.
