    Product Description

    The HRP Development Pack provides a high-sensitivity and low-background chromogenic substrate to measure the enzymatic activity of HRP. When HRP is present, the TMB Substrate Solution reacts with peroxide to form a blue-colored compound that shows peak absorbance at 605 nm. The intensity of this color reflects the level of HRP activity. Adding HRP Stop Solution transforms the blue color to yellow, shifting the absorbance peak to 450 nm. This step halts the reaction and stabilizes the color, allowing precise measurement at 450 nm using a plate reader or spectrophotometer.
