    Product Description

Cayman’s COX Activity Assay Kit measures the peroxidase activity of COX. The peroxidase activity is assayed colorimetrically by monitoring the appearance of oxidized N,N,N’,N’-tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine (TMPD) at 590 nm.1 It can be used with tissue homogenates and purified enzyme preparations. The kit includes isozyme-specific inhibitors for distinguishing COX-2 activity from COX-1 activity.

Needed but not supplied: Please download the kit booklet to verify if UltraPure Water (Milli-Q or equivalent) or any other components are needed for this assay.
