    Product Description

Fluorometholone is a synthetic glucocorticoid that binds to glucocorticoid receptors (IC50 = 1.5 nM; Kd = 2.8 nM in a radioligand binding assay).1,2 Fluorometholone (0.01%) decreases survival of cultured corneal epithelial cells and inhibits their migration in a scratch assay following 12 hours of treatment.3 Formulations containing fluorometholone have been used for the treatment of eye inflammation.

WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
