    Product Description

UK 122 is an inhibitor of urokinase-type plasminogen activator (uPA; IC50 = 0.2 µM).1 It is selective for uPA over tissue-type plasminogen activator (tPA), trypsin, plasmin, and thrombin (IC50s = >100 µM for all). UK 122 (100 µM) inhibits the migration and invasion of CFPAC-1 pancreatic cancer cells. It prevents glutamate-induced phase shifts in isolated suprachiasmatic nucleus slices from tPA-/- but not wild-type mice when used at a concentration of 0.2 µM.2 UK 122 (4 mg/kg) decreases disease severity and colorectal levels of RANTES in a mouse model of colitis induced by dextran sulfate (DSS; Item No. 23250).3
