    Product Description

    ANA-12 is a TrkB receptor antagonist that prevents activation of the receptor by BDNF with IC50 values of 45.6 nM and 41.1 μM for the high and low affinity sites of the receptor, respectively.1 It does not affect TrkA or TrkC in an assay of neurite outgrowth.1 Mice administered ANA-12 demonstrated reduced anxiety- and depression-related behaviors on a variety of tests predictive of anxiolytic and antidepressant properties in humans.1
